Easily my favorite flavor of any protein supplement I've ever tried. I'm a huge fan of the banana creme flavor, but BSN has topped Cytosport, Oh Yeah!, and GNC's versions, in my opinion. Aside from tasting great, this stuff mixes really well, and is a great pre-workout and pre-bedtime protein. The sustained release proteins keep your muscles fed during and after intense workouts, and help keep you anabolic during sleep as well. Even if you don't get the banana flavor, this product is a great alternative to pure casein protein powder, and can really be taken any time during the day since it has all kinds of slow and fast-release proteins in it. Great job, BSN! |

I researched a lot of protein shakes before deciding to try Syntha-6. The big selling points for me were taste, quality of protein, and availability. I took a huge gamble and bought the 5.04 lb BARRELL!:-) I'm sure glad I did. I have never used protein before but I wanted to add protein to my diet as part of a new workout routine. I am getting old (mid 40's) and have always wanted to return to my high school fitness and conditioning. Well, needless to say I was in worse shape than ever. The first week of July 2010 I only benched 135lbs...once!!! I think I was stronger in 3rd grade!!! Well, just adding the Syntha-6 protein shake, eating healthy, and working out 3 times per week I have increased my bench press to 195lbs in just 3 weeks. For the first time in years I have actually put on muscle. Didn't think it was possible at my age. The only things I have done in the past 3 weeks are add Syntha-6, eat healthy, and work out. Not sure how much to contribute to each...but I will not be changing anything in my routine. Oh yeah, it does taste great and dissovles well. Try it with low-fat milk instead of water. Love It!!! |
