Terrific, for what it is... |
The powder mixes well (I just stir it). There isn't an after taste, but you can definitely smell the "whey".
The blueberry flavor is OK, but a bit too sweet for me. The vanilla tastes more like cardboard, but if you mix the 2 together, it tones down the blueberry and makes it more palatable.
The chocolate is OK, but borders on cardboard.
Overall, it's a great product, and I'll continue using it. |

Perfect Choice |
This protein gives me a boost of energy after workouts...
taken in the middle of the day it eliminates that ' need' for a high sugar snack
I mix it with a small amount of water...really tastes like chocolate |

It tastes good. I thought the price was high but checked at a health food store and this was a couple of dollars cheaper. So, overall, I'm happy with my purchase. |

Make a Smoothie! They are Delicious! |
We just received the vanilla bean flavor yesterday. This morning we made the following smoothie in the blender:
1 cup skim milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons sugar free vanilla pudding
1 teaspoon vanilla
Ice
It was DELICIOUS! I have had some disgusting protein shakes in the past but I couldn't even taste the protein in this one. And it was so thick that I almost needed a straw to finish it. And it is around 200 calories! I am not a breakfast eater but while trying to lose weight I have decided that I need to make an effort. I am actually looking forward to tomorrow's smoothie!
*Recipe came from Curves
(I gave this product four stars because I feel like the protein count is a little lower than other protein powders. But the low calories make up for it!) |
